The article is devoted to the study of the main characteristics of agreements on the alienation of the exclusive right to work-related scientific and technical solutions, on the alienation of a patent and license agreements used in the system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia. This is especially relevant, because agreements on the disposal of exclusive rights are the most common way of exercising exclusive rights in economic circulation and are the main form of regulation of legal relations arising from the distribution and transfer of the exclusive right to a work-related invention, work-related utility model, workrelated industrial design. The aim of the work is to analyze the specific features of contracts that mediate the turnover of patent rights in the system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia. As a result of the study, the author identified shortcomings in the current civil legislation and proposed ways to eliminate existing gaps. An analysis of legal norms showed that for agreements on the alienation of an exclusive right, it is advisable to have a normative statement as essential conditions for indicating the type of object, as well as the number of the title document for the result of labor, certifying the exclusive right to a work-related object.
