SERVICE-APPLIED SPORTS AS AN EFFECTIVE FORM OF PROFESSIONAL TRAINING METHOD OF POLICE OFFICERS USING THE EXAMPLE OF THE DISCIPLINE «THREETHALTH»

Abstract (English):
The introduction of the presented article substantiates the need to improve the quality of professional training of police officers, due to the current unstable geopolitical situation. The authors explain that ensuring readiness for action in special conditions in order to protect the national security of the country requires constant improvement of the applied methods of professional training, which should be inextricably linked with the practical activities of police units. In the part concerning tactical-special, fire and physical training, the competitive form of the methodology is highlighted, where the high efficiency of service-applied sports is noted. The article considers a new type of service-applied sports in the discipline of "triathlon" (shooting from combat weapons, demonstration of combat wrestling techniques, 1000-meter run), the main provisions for holding these competitions, as well as the conditions and rules for performing each test. The main methods used in the preparation of the article were: general scientific (deduction, analysis, synthesis, generalization), empirical (observation, comparison, conversation), general pedagogical (study and generalization of pedagogical experience, pedagogical experiment), as well as practical experience of preparation and personal participation in competitions and a referee seminar on service triathlon at the All-Russian competitions, the Championship of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, pedagogical experience of work at the department of tactical and special, fire and physical training. The results, including key findings, are presented in the form of recommendations for improving the professional training of police officers, developed taking into account the shortcomings of the existing training system. A number of advantages are highlighted that training and participation in the competitions under consideration give to employees. A conclusion is made about the need for interaction between educational organizations and practical police units and further development of service-applied sports, active introduction of competitive forms in the methodology of professional training of employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, as well as holding scientific and practical events and seminars.
