Abstract (English):
Introduction. The article deals with the development of criminalistic characterization of extremist crimes committed with the use of information and telecommunication technologies, acting as a basis for a private criminalistic methodology of investigation of the specified category of crimes. The author pays special attention to the description of structural elements of criminalistic characterization and revealing the connection between them. Methods. The article is the result of cognition of the investigator's activity in the investigation of extremist crimes committed with the use of information and telecommunication technologies. The information obtained in the course of analysis, synthesis, comparison and generalization of materials of criminal cases, court decisions, as well as based on the results of questionnaires and interviewing of employees of preliminary investigation bodies was used. Results. The author presents the structure of the criminalistic characteristic of extremist crimes committed with the use of information and telecommunication technologies. Each of the elements is considered in detail, unambiguous interrelationships between them in the general system are revealed. Based on the identified interrelationships between the elements of the structure of criminalistic characterization, the author formulated the concept of criminalistic characterization of extremist crimes committed with the use of information and telecommunication technologies. Thanks to the compilation and detailed consideration of the criminalistic characterization of crimes of the specified category, the conditions for further development of private criminalistic methodology of investigation of this category of criminal cases have been created.
