Abstract and keywords
Abstract:
Annotation. Introduction. The article presents the results of a study of the «gender war» phenomenon as a specific form of informational, psychological, and cognitive influence on marital and family relations, traditional spiritual and moral values, and the demographic stability of society. The relevance of the work is determined by the fact that conflicting and negative images of men and women are increasingly reproduced in the modern media space, which contributes to the undermining of trust in family relationships and the weakening of interpersonal solidarity. Methods. The methodological basis of the study consists of systemic, structural-functional, comparative-legal, and value-normative approaches. Elements of media discourse analysis, cultivation theory, stigmatization theory, as well as the author's concept of A.I. Melikhov, within the framework of which national security is considered as a process of self-preservation, self-reproduction, and self-maintenance of a multinational people. Results. It has been revealed that the «gender war» manifests itself through the systematic formation of negative images of men and women in the media, the artificial reinforcement of mistrust of potential marriage partners, and the spread of labels and stigmatizing categories. These processes lead to the atomization of society, a decline in readiness for marriage and parenthood, and the weakening of family ties and demographic potential. The erosion of trust between men and women is not only a socio-cultural problem but also a threat to national security in the sphere of spiritual and moral values and the self-reproduction of the people. It is concluded that the principle of trust and good faith in relationships between men and women, as well as between older and younger generations, must be legally enshrined in the system of protecting traditional Russian spiritual and moral values. It is proposed that this principle be given cross-cutting significance, extending it, in particular, to family and information law, which will strengthen legal mechanisms for countering destructive media content that undermines the institution of the family, intergenerational continuity, and demographic security.
