The subject of the study is the method of promotion of patriotism among cadets in everyday life. The object of the study is the process of patriotic upbringing among cadets of the Krasnodar University of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia. The author examines in detail the system of professional training of police officers, defines patriotism, shows the relevance of the patriotism promotion for police officers, reveals the content of the main directions of this activity. Special attention is paid to the pedagogical engagement with the cadets of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia. The author reveals the features of patriotic education in an educational facility. The main conclusions of the study are the author’s recommendations on improving the process of promoting patriotism among cadets. Author contributes to the study of the problems of patriotism by covering the features of patriotic upbringing in the daily life of the cadets, and gives recommendations that can be applied to improve the process of promotion of patriotism among police officers. The novelty of the research lies in the author’s consideration of new directions of patriotic activities carried out during the daily life of cadets, and the legal justification of patriotic education. On the example of the Krasnodar University of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, the author reveals the practical side of patriotic upbringing in police.
