The influence of the head of the service team on the moral and psychological state of subordinate employees

Abstract (English):
Introduction. The article deals with psychological aspects of the influence of the head of the service team on the moral and psychological state of its members. The relevance is due to the value of the head in maintaining team members’ moral and psychological state, and the absence of studies showing the importance of the head in the formation of interactions and relationships in the service team while functioning in the subordination type of management.The lack of theoretical generalisations of the functions of the head actualises the need to study his influence on the moral and psychological state of the service team members through the prism of their interactions and relationships. Methods. The research methods are general scientific methods of processing, analysis and generalisation of information, used for prioritisation knowledge about organisational-psychological and socio-psychological aspects of the influence of the head of the service team on his subordinate employees.The modelling method is used to systematise theoretical knowledge about the influence of the head of the service team in the form of a model, including directions of interactions and relationships, revealing three aspects of organisational influence – determination (regulation), formation and adjustment. Results. The results of the study are: functions typology of the head of the service team (an organiser and a leader), revealing the features of interactions and relationships with subordinate employees; theoretical model of the head of the service team influence on the interactions and relationships of subordinate employees, applicable as methodological basis for assessing the state of this work by the employee of personnel department (psychologist of the unit) and developing recommendations to improve these activities. The obtained results are applicable for further study of the activity of the head of the service team in organisations of subordinate type of management, training of candidates for the position of the head of the service team, evaluation of the activity of the employees filling the positions of the headson moral and psychological support of subordinate employees.
